The Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach was founded in 1961.  Members of the Kiwanis Club Of Newport Harbor sponsored the new organization for their growing neighbor to the North.  Since its inception, the Club has itself sponsored new entities for the Kiwanis family, including clubs in Westminster, and Huntington Beach's Surf City Breakfast Club.

 

In 1997, the Kiwanis Foundation of Huntington Beach was chartered as a tax exempt organization to better support our charitable work with youth and the elderly in our community.  Officers of the Kiwanis Club also serve as officers of the Foundation.

 

Currently, with almost 100 members, the Kiwanis Foundation of Huntington Beach actively supports, or is involved with helping, not only the children but also the senior citizens of our community.
